
Takamine GN73CE-SB Satin Black
The GN37CE has a Nex body-design which is unique for Takamine and has the shape of jumbo-model but in a smaller format. The sides, the back and the neck is all manufactured in maple while the top is made out of solid spruce. The combination of spruce and maple gives a clear and focused tone in the low and high frequencies as well as being less sensitive for feedback, perfect in live situation. The fretboard is made out of rosewood and is 42,5mm wide by the nut. The instrument is equipped with Takamine's TP3G preamp which have a 3-band equalizer as well as built in tuner.

Takamine did start manufacturing guitars already back in 1959 but it was not until 1962 they took the name Takamine which is the name of the mountain close to the town Sakashita were the factory is located.
